How to choose a size

The A3 is ideal for small items and gifts, the 6090 for general signage applications, the 1313 for larger items, and the 2513 for large-format printing and production. See also the comparison between the A3 UV printer and large-format printers.

UV or DTF?

The UV printer prints on hard materials (plexiglass, metal, wood, glass). If you want to print on clothing and fabrics, check out DTF printers. Many businesses combine both technologies to cover a full range of substrates.

Print Quality & Durability

UV printing offers vibrant colors, high detail, and excellent adhesion to most surfaces. The result is durable and resistant to weathering, water, and abrasion, making it suitable for both indoor and limited outdoor use.

Supplies & Maintenance

Reliable operation requires high-quality UV inks (CMYK + white + varnish) and proper printhead maintenance. We offer consumables and printing supplies, and we can advise you on primers for challenging substrates such as metal and glass.

What's included in the delivery

  • Printer installation and setup.
  • Operator training.
  • RIP software & color profiles.
  • Technical support & replacement parts throughout Greece.

White ink, varnish & special effects

In addition to CMYK, UV printers use white ink for full coverage on transparent or dark materials, as well as varnish for glossy or embossed effects. This allows you to create products with added value—from luxurious signage to personalized gifts with texture and gradation.

Operating costs & depreciation

UV LED technology features low energy consumption and a long service life for the LED lamps. Combined with direct printing that requires no drying time and no intermediate steps (stickers, heat transfer), the cost per piece is low and productivity is high, making it a cost-effective investment for an advertising agency or small business.

Space & Installation Requirements

The space required depends on the size of the machine—from a work table for the A3 to a dedicated space for the 2513. A stable base, ventilation, and a proper power supply are required. We handle the installation and configure the color profiles (RIP) for optimal results from day one.

RIP software & workflow

UV printers work with professional RIP software that manages color channels (CMYK, white, varnish), color management, and the print sequence. The workflow includes: design or file import, adjusting the print head height according to the material thickness, selecting an ink profile, and printing. With proper setup, the result is consistent and repeatable, even on different substrates within the same production run.

Head Maintenance

Like any professional printer, a UV printer requires regular printhead maintenance to ensure consistent quality. With proper cleaning, the use of high-quality inks, and preventive maintenance, the printheads maintain high performance and a long service life. We provide technical support and replacement parts to ensure uninterrupted operation of your production.
