Flush (cleaning solution) is good, but…
- As you know, print heads jet ink droplets onto various substrates. Each print head contains hundreds of nozzles that dispense millions of ink droplets per second.
- All well and good, but solvent ink, UV ink and dye-sub ink jetted from the nozzles will eventually build up and block them. The result is that the ink jet path is deflected. And while most printers let you compensate for a small number of clogged nozzles, very soon even that print head nozzle cleaning solution will stop working. The nozzle becomes too clogged to remain usable. The result is blurry output and other final print quality problems.
